Through financial and in-kind donations, our current corporate
partners help create a positive experience for patients and families by
enhancing a child's emotional well-being while at a children's hospital.
CHA thanks our partners for their ongoing and generous support of
children's hospitals.

American
Girl Brands, LLC, a subsidiary of Mattel, devotes its business to
celebrating the potential of girls ages 3 to 12. American Girl
encourages girls to dream, grow, aspire, create and imagine through a
wide range of engaging and insightful books, age-appropriate and
educational dolls and accessories. Through holiday campaigns and
philanthropic giving, American Girl's annual donation of American Girl
Dolls, brings comfort and cheer to thousands of young children receiving
care in many of CHA's U.S. based children’s hospitals.
Brave Barbie

Brave
Barbie, a hairless doll, was created by Mattel in response to a public
campaign for the company to produce a special doll as a positive role
model for children experiencing hair loss as a result of treatment or
illness. Brave Barbie is not sold in retail stores but is distributed
exclusively by Mattel through CHA, Cure Search and the National Alopecia
Areata Foundation. To date, CHA has distributed more than 13,000 dolls
to patients in children's hospitals nationwide.
Mattel Toy Donation Program

Partnering
with charitable organizations dedicated to directly serving children,
Mattel Children's Foundation creates healthy play through product
donations.
Because play is essential to children and eases stress in
hospitalized patients, Mattel partners with CHA to “Spread Joy with
Toys.” Through a specially designed social media campaign, members of
the public nominate children’s hospitals to receive toy shipments. Based
on campaign results, Mattel distributes hundreds of toys to children’s
hospitals annually.

America’s
largest western and work wear retailer, Boot Barn donates over 9,000
plush ponies to children’s hospitals annually. Committed to supporting
children and children’s hospitals, Boot Barn stores nationwide
participate in holiday-timed donations to hospitalized patients and
contribute financially to support CHA programming.
